Considered as one of the world’s most powerful car manufacturers, Ferrari was founded by Enzo Ferrari in the year 1939. A decade earlier, Ferrari launched the FXX. Now, the Italian sports car manufacturer recently announced the launch of their new car called La Ferrari FXX K. The car is scheduled to be released this year and it’s all set to flaunt the typical Ferrari Formula One race car flair.
The FXX K has a horsepower of 1036 thanks to its mid-mounted V-12 engine. The 6.3-liter V-12 gets an extra 59 horsepower and the electric motor another 27. This car laps its 1.862-mile Fiorano test circuit in just 1 minute and 14 seconds. Though the speed of the FXX K is excellent, it will not be used for racing. Instead, the car will be used for research and development. It will later be sold to the public. Currently, all the cars are already booked and sold out. So no one new will be able to own the car unless someone decides to sell it off.
The car boasts 4 drive modes ranging from Fast Charge, Manual Boost, Qualify, and Long Run. The car’s exterior is similar to that of the LaFerrari; however, it has gun-slit LED head and tail lights. The car also has added half wings in the rear. The FXX K has two steering-wheel-mounted manettinos. The chassis technology of the car is similar to the one used by the LaFerrari, with a control-arm front setup working in concert with a multilink rear-end and electronically run magnetorheological dampers all over.
The La Ferrari FXX K can easily pass off as one of the fastest cars in the world. It is roughly 3 million dollars and you can enjoy the initial two years of racing support. The company will also extend the support in exchange for a fee after the two-year period is over.
