BMW’s Futuristic New Model: The Vision Next 100

This year BMW is going to celebrate its 100th anniversary by announcing their BMW new model-- Vision Next 100, which is currently still in its development stage.

The concept is extraordinary because of the amazing features of the car.  Their concept is not just about the shape and aesthetics of the car, because they have previously used this technology, which makes us think beyond our imagination.  One of the features that I personally like is that the car has two modes; one is the ‘ease’ mode and the other is the ‘boost’ mode.  When you choose the 'ease' mode, the car takes control of everything and you can relax while your car is being automatically handled.  When you switch to the ‘boost’ mode, you can take control of your car and drive it yourself.  BMW has another added feature in which the driver can interact with the cars through gestures, which is just brilliant!

The materials used will both enhance the interiors of the car as well as increase the efficiency. For instance, the glass that they are planning to use will reduce up to 30% of the heat consumption. The new design creates a stunning profile that will be available in metallic colors.

BMW has definitely concentrated on the aerodynamics of the car. It has a feature referred to as ‘Alive Geometry’ in which there are 800 activated triangles, which move and communicate with the driver. It helps the driver with road maps and many other functions. The outer car shell is fully enclosed and when the wheels come out, the car adjusts its aerodynamic form.

It is anticipated that the company will showcase the concept of BMW Vision Next 100 in the next month in certain countries. BMW believes that in the coming years it will be possible to make complex cars and to create a seamless experience for their customers. BMW’s vision won’t hit the roads anytime soon, but they have surely made some exciting plans based on in-depth research, in order to manufacture complex and amazing cars in the near future.
